About
In the last two years, AI made building software dramatically easier. Indie developers and weekend projects now ship real products in days. That part is wonderful. The side effect is not: dozens of AI products launch every day, and telling the carefully made ones from the hastily assembled ones has become genuinely hard work.
The old discovery channels aren't much help. Launch platforms are gamed by vote pools and paid pushes. Social feeds are wall-to-wall promotion. And many AI products don't map to an obvious search keyword — you can't google your way to a tool you don't know exists. There's a saying that a product needs to cross your feed seven times before you'll try it. Good products get buried; users get numb.
Meanwhile, the easier building gets, the scarcer taste becomes. Judgment — knowing what's actually good, and why — doesn't scale with the model releases.
So this site runs in the opposite direction of the AI directory sites. Nothing here is auto-collected, nothing is ranked by algorithm, and no one can pay their way in. Every product is used for real, over time; the few that prove genuinely special get documented — less a review, more a note of gratitude to the people who sweat the details. If an entry hands you one tool that genuinely helps, it did its job.
One more thing worth saying: absence isn't a verdict. If a product isn't here, it usually just means it hasn't been lived with yet.
The index is small on purpose, and it grows slowly. That's not a limitation. That's the product.
